What an extraordinary weekend we had at Madhyamaka KMC to begin our 40th anniversary year celebrations.
At the end of January, Kadampa centers in Cologne, Edinburgh and Jacksonville hosted inspiring events focused on the blessings of Buddha. Through empowerment, teachings, and retreat sessions, practitioners deepened their connection with Buddha’s compassion and wisdom.
January is a wonderful month for Kadampas. It is a time when centers often organise retreats on the essential practices of Lamrim and Highest Yoga Tantra, giving students an opportunity to experience the joy that comes from deepening their Dharma practice.
This January, attendees of close retreat at the Mother Center were blessed with the extraordinary opportunity to enter a month-long Dorje Shugden Close Retreat, guided by our Resident Teacher, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong. As Gen-la’s final close retreat at Manjushri KMC, the month unfolded as something deeply special and profoundly powerful.
As we celebrate 30 years of Kadampa Buddhism in Australia, we look back over the development of the Centres throughout the country – from the fledgling years in Perth to the vibrant national community that exists today.
The construction of the future Kadampa Meditation Centre in Granada continues to progress with care and attention to every detail.
As we approach the final day of Heruka and Vajrayogini month, we rejoice in the incredible blessing of encountering Highest Yoga Tantra.
